At this time of year (Spring in Denmark) it's not easy growing Spring flowers in pots outside. The visiting pheasants from the wild enjoy eating the fresh leaves and pulling the plants out of the pots.
What they don't like (I hope) is my "Flower substitute": yarnbombed wooden sticks. The patterns are supposed to look like a section of a flower seen from above ... (have a look at the bottom of this post).

All you need is:
• Wooden sticks
I've used sticks from a willow fence from my parents garden
• Yarn
I've used NO.1 acrylic

This is how you start:
When you change color:
Repeat the start (A+B+C).
If you're going to use the former color later
on the stick, keep it underneath the new color (D)...
